Paddle Care
Wood Care Instructions
The wood we use is highly resistant to rot, scuffing, and damage. However, to keep it in the best condition:
If the wood is not lacquered:
Regularly apply beeswax to maintain its water resistance, prevent warping, and preserve its shine.
If the wood is lacquered:
Do not use harsh chemicals like ammonia, bleach, acidic products, abrasive cleaners, or strong detergents, as these can damage or strip the lacquer finish. Clean lacquered surfaces using a soft, dry cloth (like microfiber)Avoid abrasive sponges or tools like steel wool. Always wipe spills immediately to protect the finish.
Vampire Paddle Care
For vampire paddles, use a soft brush to gently apply beeswax or cleaning products between the spikes to ensure even coverage.
If your vampire paddle includes stainless steel parts, do not use the following:
Harsh chemicals like ammonia or bleach
Acidic cleaners
Abrasive tools such as steel wool, wire brushes, or rough sponges
These can scratch, corrode, or dull the metal surface.
Avoid leaving acidic liquids or products that leave salt residues on stainless steel for long periods.
Use soft microfiber cloths instead of paper towels to clean stainless steel surfaces.
